We are an organisation for black women, immigrant women or women refugees. Pecwa offers a political, socio-economic and cultural stage for all aforesaid women in the Netherlands, Europe and abroad.

Making a contribution concerning knowledge and insight regarding the position of black women, immigrant women and women refugees in the Dutch society and promoting the economic independence of these women.
Guarding the interests of and granting services to these women in the Netherlands and Europe and promoting contacts between these women and other people, groups and (government) agencies.
Teaching the Dutch/European standards and values to these women of the target group and letting these women realize that they with their own cultural traditions can be an enrichment for the societies in which they reside.
Promoting the integration, participation and emancipation of black women, immigrant women and women refugees in the Netherlands and in Europe.
Pecwa is primarily interested in all black and immigrant women and women refugees, and in “zmv-organisations” (black and migrant women organisations). Other groups and people subscribing Pecwa objectives are most welcome.
Pecwa acts in the fields of labour, care & well-being to develop independence, social participation and the quality of life of zmv-women and women refugees in the Dutch society.
Matters concerned are social competence, charity, volunteer aid, work reintegration, training and education as well as social cohesion and integration. The aforementioned is achieved, among others, by organising training and work experience projects and meetings between people of different cultures.
Pecwa boasts a network of black women, immigrant women or women refugees.
Pecwa wishes to present a learning stage for multicultural interactions.
Pecwa can achieve this by acting as an intermediary between culturally different groups.
Pecwa wants to make tangible the invisible inner strength of black women, immigrant women or women refugees by means of giving empowerment trainings and informative and social meetings.
For instance this objective can be realised by role modelling, coaching, mentoring, success stories (in particular of black and immigrant women).
Cooperation with other relevant civil organisations important to the realisation of women interests, for example: Urban credit banks (nullifying debts), trade unionism, women associations, employers organisations, reintegration agencies, politics, churches a.o.
