-
The Pan European
Women’s
Alliance (PECWA)
is brought about
in Holland in
2006, to
mobilise women
to make a stand
for the family,
the local,
national and
international
needs. PECWA is
a so called
Social Investor
/ Social
Entrepreneur.
-
To promote the
participation of
women in
leaderships
development in
all levels of
society
-
present
spearheads of
PECWA are
‘Upbringing and
Language’
(Upbringing by
means of
courses,
empowerment
towards mothers
and the
raising-up of
children, as
well as giving
language
classes)
PECWA is there to
play a mediating
role in assuring the
full participation
of women and
involvement in every
level in family and
society.
The program of PECWA
is focussing on
women in leadership
in general,
professional women,
basic women (at all
levels) and women in
city environment.
The main focus is:
v
Making the own
hidden inner power
of women visible, by
giving empowerment
training, and
information- and
fellowship-gatherings.
Women who are
weakened by certain
things that happened
to them or
situations, can find
their inner strength
again by means of
the activities above
and thus become
capable to start and
build a new life.
This way they will
be able to
participate in
society in a
fully-fledged way.
v
Representing the
interest of – and
rendering service to
– the migrants who
live in the
societies of The
Netherlands or other
European countries,
and advancing mutual
contacts between
these women and
other people, groups
and (governmental)
agencies in Dutch
society and in other
European societies.
v
Developing
leadership-capacities
in women through
communal projects.
By training, special
attention is given
to the development
and strengthening of
personal
effectiveness and
the ability to
defend themselves,
focused on our
target group c.q.
women, thus enabling
them to get results
in socio-economical
and
leaderships-matters,
juridical and civil
matters, in and
outside their own
living-environment,
and enabling them to
give information to
others about
(health-)matters(e.g.
HIV and Aids,
raising children,
etc.) and/or render
assistance
(spiritual or
otherwise) to other
people in a
professional way.
v
Creating a platform
for gaining
experience in
associating with
different cultures.
This can be done for
instance, by
functioning as a
bridge to people
with a different
cultural background.
PECWA will establish
a knowledge-centre
to accomplish this.

The role-model of
PECWA is Deborah,
[(Judges 4:4-6).
Like Deborah, we
believe it is
possible for women
to be successful,
both as a woman
and as a leader
in society.] and
the daughters of
Zelophehad
[(Numbers 27:1-11).
Like the daughters
of Zelophehad
showed, it is
possible for women
to change history,
laws and the
system.]
